\nOur last full day here in London. Still jetlagged so didn’t get out of the house until late morning.<\/p>\n

\nBreakfast time.<\/p>\n

\nWhy would you want to squeeze a lime onto your already tart mangos?<\/p>\n

\nThere’s a little park by the embankment station. I’m going to chill here and enjoy my coffee while everyone else does some little souvenir shopping at a store around here.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nOK, bye family.<\/p>\n

\nI was enjoying a good time, then realized that I was sitting under a giant London Plane tree. Then I looked around and noticed that I’m surrounded by London Plane trees…fuck. allergens everywhere. As I sat here, I could feel my asthma slowly getting worse. I’ve been having to use my inhaler regularly and take zyrtec to fight it off. Hope family comes back soon so I can escape this park.<\/p>\n

\nWhile the trees were attacking me, the rest of my family were attacking the souvenir shop.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nIt’s quite nice here…if I wasn’t allergic.<\/p>\n

\nI had to take a couple puffs of this while waiting. At then end, none of the attacking amounted to much. My asthma just barely worse, and the kids got little trinkets at the shop. All good.<\/p>\n

\nLow ceilings in this part of the subway station…probably from people punching the ceiling panels.<\/p>\n

\nKids are scared of these super long escalators going downwards. I will admit, they are so long it feels disorientating.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nWe are on Oxford Street, plan is to do a little shopping for LKL. He wants a soccer jersey.<\/p>\n

We found him an England world cup jersey at the Nike store…but somehow no one has a picture of that. We were originally headed for the Adidas store a little bit of a walk away, but I guess Nike is the England kit sponsor for world cup this year.<\/p>\n

\nThe current hot ticket item at Swatch, Royal Pop. They still get a queue waiting for it daily but only get a drop of them once every week or two is what I’m told.<\/p>\n

\nNow heading down along all the shops to checkout Adidas.<\/p>\n

\nLKL got himself some Arsenal jerseys here. His thing is to buy jerseys as souvenirs from every country\/city he visits. He practically wears a soccer jersey everyday, so I guess it works out. We buy them in bigger sizes so they last him a good while.<\/p>\n

\nThey’ve a Y-3 store here attached to Adidas as well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nNot an actual balloon, but more like a scrupture.<\/p>\n

\nTime for lunch. Mayfair Chippy that we visited 4 years ago is just around the corner, but it had a line out the door as expected. We’ll walk around Mayfair and look for something else to eat.<\/p>\n

\nThis is supposed to be a super fancy area with good car spotting opportunities.<\/p>\n

\nAnd here we go, a 488 Pista.<\/p>\n

\nRR. So many of them here.<\/p>\n

\nThis part of Mayfair seems to be a mostly residential area with not many restaurants, we decided to just have lunch at a pub. This is the pub we chose.<\/p>\n

\nAnd….they were not open today at this hour. Doh. There’s another pub close by that we’ll try instead. They seem to be open according to Google.<\/p>\n

\nLook at all these garages. I wonder if there is actually living space up top or is it just full of cars stacked on top of each other? Either way, ballar.<\/p>\n

\nLove this semi hidden garage.<\/p>\n

\nYay, this pub is open. The Footman.<\/p>\n

\nEmpty, we are essentially the only ones here…except little did we know, we actually just beat the crowd. It’s like 1pm when we got here, but by the time we left, it was packed.<\/p>\n

\nCL’s Harry Potter necklace at the British Museum….she doesn’t even really like Harry Potter. I think she just likes the hour glass in the gimbal.<\/p>\n

\nAdult’s fish and chips. We are leaving London tomorrow, might as well get our fill of fish and chips. And this is a good one, everyone enjoyed our food.<\/p>\n

\nNow that we’ve had some lunch and we are all less hangry, time to walk around the corner and flag down a cab to take us back.<\/p>\n

\nThe Ferrari dealership is also here in Mayfair.<\/p>\n

\nCute, they used hard hats as planters….except all the plants were dead.<\/p>\n

\nLots of people still drinking at pubs…it is after all, Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Got dropped off by the cab. We are tired, the free concert in Trafalgar Square is at 4pm…I don’t know if we’ve got enough get go in us to go to the concert…<\/p>\n

\nFinally, at 5pm we finally worked up enough energy to give the concert a try. Jet lagged and we’ve just been tired.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nSaturday, lots and lots of people out.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nOH, LOTS of people right now. We got out on the streets coinciding with many people existing all the musicals that they just saw at the theaters all around our area.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nShort walk to Trafalgar Square, the concert is still happening.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nAnd…it seems like they’ve reached capacity as the sign says all entrances have been closed…<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nOr have they….we walked closer by and saw that they were still letting people in. I guess as people left, they would let the same amount of people in. Cool.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nFound a spot to sit by the fountain. It’s sunny, but temperature is actually very nice.<\/p>\n

\nAlright kids, stay here and listen to the London Symphony. Kinda cool actually.<\/p>\n

\nOh look, they’ve even got an ice cream food truck here! RL went to wait in line to get some for all of us.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nI didn’t expect much, but I’ll take this down as a solid win. Free concert from London Symphony 5 minutes walk from our airbnb and they’ve got ice cream!!! What could be better?!<\/p>\n

\nThe kids were surprisingly having a great time as well…or maybe they are just excited to have ice cream. Let’s see if they stay calm after they finish their ice cream.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nNom nom nom. We showed up an hour after starting time, so they only played about 20 minutes more or so after we got there, which is fine with us. They ended with an encore of Themes from James Bond, which was cool.<\/p>\n

\nWe stuck around hanging out while everyone left the square after the concert. And of course, LKL couldn’t contain himself and started messing around. So we made him do some jumping jacks to get some energy out.<\/p>\n

\nNow that most of the people cleared out, we can walk around Trafalgar Square.<\/p>\n

\nApparently car spotting isn’t over today yet. Sweet.<\/p>\n

\nI kept on hearing this loud noise and I couldn’t make out what it was. Then as I got closer, I realized it was a bible thumper blasting himself talking on a super loud speaker…Seriously dude, you won’t convince anyone going about it this way. There are better ways…<\/p>\n

\nI’ll have the octopus please.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWe’ve collected these sandwiches over the past couple of days, we are leaving tomorrow morning so all this must go. The kids will eat these for dinner tonight.<\/p>\n

\nWhile the kids eat, I’ll watch some qualifying. This internet fucking sucks. Download just barely fast enough to stream videos and upload truly atrocious. The airbnb host said that they had something with the line, and a couple of days after my stay actually offered to refund me $200 for the trouble…I mean…it’s not much, but it’s something. I guess that was to buy me off from writing a bad review.<\/p>\n

\nBasement dinner with ipad time. The kids are loving dinner tonight.<\/p>\n

\nRL and I on the other hand don’t plan on eating old sandwiches for dinner. We set up the kids in the basement and went out half a block away to buy some food for ourselves.<\/p>\n

\nYup, that’s right, doner kebabs!!!!!<\/p>\n

\nOrder a kiosk, and pick up to go. Easy Peasy.<\/p>\n

\nAll that fur must get so nasty from people sitting and touching it.<\/p>\n

\nI’m so excited to eat my doner wrap.<\/p>\n

\nOhhhh yes, really hits the spot.<\/p>\n

\nCaught her in the act of watching her shows and smiling to herself. This one loves TV.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, we’ll wake up early and take a train to Paris, so time to pack up tonight.<\/p>\n
