\nAnd that’s that, we are in the gift shop already. Pretty small museum and honestly a little disappointing. There were no cars here from the 1990s or the 2000s, the era of Ferrari that I love the most. There weren’t that many cars at all really. I expected more, a lot more. Even the items at the gift shop are not very inspiring. Sigh.<\/p>\n

\nYes, that 380 euros.<\/p>\n

\nTrying to find a way back to the train station. Tried to get them to call us a taxi and they said we could take the shuttle as well. Oh look, I knew there’s a shuttle, but what I didn’t know was the exact time that it left, but guess what, it leaves in 2minutes. Hopefully we can get tickets in time to get on it.<\/p>\n

\nThe staff member leads us to the shuttle, where we’ll pay once on the bus. Cool, that solves the issue of getting back to the train station in Maranello, which is like a 25min drive away from Maranello.<\/p>\n

\nMade it. Glad we didn’t have to wait a long time for a large taxi and or take two taxis. This works out perfectly.<\/p>\n

\nBus ride was easy peasy, no one got carsick. Got to the train station, and now buying our return trip tickets back to Bologna. Let’s hope our train doesn’t get cancelled this time.<\/p>\n

\nLKL needs to go potty. He always needs to go potty it seems. One euro to go pee, and it’s nice they take credit cards now.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nJust a few little souvenirs from the gift shop. There isn’t anything too amazing, a little disappointed. I still think Porsche has the best museum, followed by Mercedes and BMW. Audi is alright too I guess.<\/p>\n

\nAnd in typical Italian fashion, the train arrives late, but fortunately, barely late.<\/p>\n

\nI forgot what I was laughing about, but probably about him talking NONSTOP about teaching me and RL how to play minecraft. Like NONSTOP talking for this one this entire trip. He never stops talking…Mama mama mama mama, baba baba baba, mama, baba, mama, baba…it’s a lot.<\/p>\n

\nOne of the little souvenirs we got form Ferrari, a little coffee cup magnet with a Ferrari logo. I think it’s like 20 Euros for that little thing.<\/p>\n

\nTypical Italian trains.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWheat?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nNow it’s RL’s turn to listen to LKL talk NONSTOP about how to play Minecraft.<\/p>\n

\nBack in Bologna! It’s been a long hot day of outing. The heat just takes it out of you.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nThanks to the porticos, the walk to the train station earlier in the day wasn’t bad, so we’ll also walk back to our airbnb. I wish more cities around the world would have porticos, I think you’d get a lot more pedestrians if they could avoid rain and sun.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nWhile the rest of our chilled at the airbnb, RL went on a little stroll around town and checked out some of the vintage stores she wanted to visit. She missed out on the flea market that she was set on going to in Paris, so she’s been trying to make up for it by visiting as many vintage shops as she can for these next few cities.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nAnd…it’s dinner time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\nGiant bottle of amaro montenegro.<\/p>\n

\nThe kids are not behaving during this meal. In fact, they haven’t been behaving much all day. I know it’s hot, I know we are tired…but still, it’s a lot.<\/p>\n

\nLKL really like tortellini in broth.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nAlways eat early. The restaurant was completely empty when we came in at 6ish, and now it’s closer to 7 and completely filled. We always need to try to eat early since as a table of 5, it’s not always the easiest to get a bigger table at busy restaurants.<\/p>\n

\nRL peeled off from dinner early to look at the nearby vintage store. Don’t think she found anything good though.<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nOur table was right by the front steps and they added this block of wood here. I guess too many people accidentally step off and fall or scoot their chairs and fall? The kids were so ill behaved, well, CL and LKL were ill behaved today. They fought, they fought and then they fought some more today. No amount of warning or talking to would get them to stop fighting and causing trouble today. Their punishment is no gelato after dinner today, only PL will get gelatos.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"
\nAnd….baba is a softie. We are in Italy on vacation, it’s hot, and gelatos are delicious, I couldn’t bear not getting everyone gelatos. So instead, I allowed PL to get the medium sized cone while the two trouble makers had to settle for the small sized cone…even though the ice cream looks almost about the same for everyone. They said I’m the best baba in the world and I’m the coolest baba in the world….Oh yeah, since we didn’t celebrate father’s day yesterday, today is still make up father’s day…supposedly.<\/p>\n

While we were in the gelato place, two middle aged asian ladies came in line behind us. She spoke English to us and asked if these were all my kids….yes. I know, they don’t look much like siblings, but same father and same father. She then asked if they spoke Mandarin, I said, some, but since RL didn’t speak Mandarin, we’d end up giving conflicting instructions to the kids so we stopped. She looked at me in disapproval and said that she married a German and her kids all spoke perfect Mandarin (I think she’s Chinese and it’s a Nationalist pride to speak the mother tongue)…I’m usually not too bothered by this…but the way she said it made me a little peeved.<\/p>\n

\nAfter we left the gelato place and enjoying our gelato in the streets of Bologna (RL is still vintage shopping), I told the kids about what a Tiger Mom is, and now I’m not a Tiger Mom (Dad), because if I was, they would definitely not be getting gelatos today. And if anything, they wouldn’t have behaved well enough on any day to have gotten gelatos. I think they were thankful that I’m not a tiger dad as they enjoyed their gelatos.<\/p>\n

\nClose out the night with some family Naruto time. Power did not go out again tonight, so that’s nice.<\/p>\n
