Continued from Paris 2026 Day 2 Part 2.

The weather is pretty nice to sit outside in the morning for breakfast. No firm plans today, so we’ll see how the day comes about.

The kids wanted to go back to the place with the columns. They are treating it like a playground, I guess that works for us this morning.

We live right next door to firehouse, but they don’t turn on their sirens until they are much farther away as we don’t hear them going off.

Parkour in the city.

More obstacle courses.

Oh no. It’s one of those rental mopeds.

Found another pixel tile video game art.

And we are here at the place with columns.

Go kids, go play while we sit in the shade.

Alright, I’ll help you since you had helped your siblings and now they are sitting on columns and can’t help you.

Let’s check out the garden on the other side of this courtyard.

Such thick amazing shade tree.

I think this is my stressed face. It’s always a little stressful traveling with kids.

Smile kids, keep your eyes open….

Alright, let’s head towards Les Halles station, there’s a mall there, and there’s a Nike store where we can buy LKL a French national world cup jeresey.

More of these little art work on the walls. But I think we should just stick to only taking photos of the pixel tile ones.

Fancy.

RL had found an antique shop around here, so we’ll walk down this really old shopping arcade while she browses some.

They sell some…interesting…statues here. Look at PL’s face in the glass, confused.

Did not expect a Carhartt store here.

The kids, especially LKL is having a lot of fun finding these tiled artwork. I wonder who’s the artist who did all these? I’ll need to look it up.

Les Halles Forum. It’s a mall.

Found the Nike store. Airmax 95 is still the shit after all these years.

Alright, found the jerseys. I’ve learned that there’s the jerseys that the players wear, and there are the stadium jerseys that the fans wear. They are made of different material and sometimes super hard to tell, but the player version is like twice the price of the none player version.

Left is stadium version for like 70ish Euro, the player version is the one on right for twice the price…The material is very slightly different and I believe the cut is as well. Either way, we got the stadium version.

This mall has no less than 4 Starbucks!!

Lunch spot at a street side cafe.

RL said this was her favorite meal that she’s had since we got here because its simple and straightforward. Not that the other meals aren’t amazing, she just likes feeling sure there isn’t any/much dairy in her food since she’s lactose intolerant.

After lunch, I took LKL home while RL took the girls to look at some of the shops in the mall.

Eglise Saint Eutache, let’s go see if we can go take a quick look inside.

LKL saw these kids climbing on this artwork, so obviously he also wanted to have a go at it.

OK, inside the church now. Zero line, and it’s beautiful inside like you’d expect.
